About Me
Welcome to my coaching and counselling service, designed to support adults struggling with symptoms of ADHD, and adults who are navigating the challenges of raising children with ADHD. I am studying Counselling at Oxford College and studying towards a Diploma in ADHD Coaching at the Centre of Excellence.
I have 20 years of experience as a trained childcare professional, including being Deputy SENCO at an OFSTED rated “Outstanding” Nursery School, which I helped in getting its Outstanding status as Deputy there for 12 years. I hold a Diploma in Pre-school Practice, NVQ in childcare and education and Certificate of Higher Education in Humanities. During my work in the childcare sector, I was also a key person, equality and diversity co-ordinator and had higher-level safeguarding training. Alongside training to become a psychotherapist, I am working as an OFSTED registered and inspected home childcare provider.
I was diagnosed with ADHD as an adult, and have two children with the same diagnosis, so I understand it from the perspective of an adult who has struggled with the symtoms and associated difficulties since childhood, and as a parent supporting neurodiverse children through the school system. I have a good understanding of the unique dynamics within families, especially when some family members have ADHD.
Sadly, the waiting list for support in the UK is long, the NHS is under strain and private healthcare is expensive. I want to help people who are in need of support to cope better in life, so I am offering donation based coaching.
My sessions are held virtually via Google Meet or Microsoft Teams, but we can discuss other platforms or meeting in person if you live near Oxford. Depending on distance, I may offer home visits for parents of children with ADHD. I would come to your home to address family dynamics and work with you on finding solutions to problems. I will provide clients with my enhanced DBS certificate and Paediatric First Aid certificate and OFSTED certificate before our first session. These visits, available for a small fee to cover travel costs, will allow us to dive deeper into specific challenges in a familiar environment, helping to create a sustainable path forward for you and your family.

Depending on which type of support you need, I will focus on coaching or counselling. Aspects of them may overlap, but to put it simply: Coaching focuses on jointly working out possible solutions to problems and encouraging you to take action towards goals you set. Counselling helps guide you to work out your problems and possible solutions through discussion.
My coaching toolkit is mainly Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) based, but I have modified worksheets carefully with neurodivergent people in mind. I am aware that Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) also works well for people with ADHD and may use these tools alongside CBT. The main positive thing about this coaching is that you will be with someone who understands the struggles of ADHD and wants to help you feel more able to navigate life.
My counselling style is integrative; I integrate elements of psychodynamic therapy, person-centred counselling, CBT and archetypal psychology to support a holistic approach to personal growth and self-awareness:
The psychodynamic approach allows us to explore underlying emotional patterns, unconscious motivations, and past experiences that may influence current behaviours and relationships.
Person-centred counselling allows us to connect as two individuals united in a shared purpose: to help you navigate your journey through life.
Using CBT techniques, we can work together to identify and reshape negative thought patterns, fostering practical strategies for managing challenges.
Archetypal psychology brings a symbolic lens, helping clients connect with universal themes and archetypes that resonate with their inner struggles and aspirations.
Together, these modalities create a balanced framework for deeper understanding and transformative change.
